Despite the widespread knowledge of the evils of tobacco, marketing efforts are still made every day to try to get new customers addcited to smoking. Unfortunately, it is youth that are most easily and commonly targeted in efforts to get them hooked. Building off of my original Motivate Yourself speech, I have adapted it to apply to the topic of tobacco education. Keeping youth away from tobacco may seem like an impossible mission, but the Mission IS Possible.

Learning Objectives:
  • Understanding addiction
  • Recognizing the way the media influences our decisions
  • Learning to make choices for yourself and by yourself
