YEAR-ROUND PROGRAM: Making A MAJOR Difference

WE'RE ALL JUST PEOPLE

"We're All Just People" is a keynote speech focused on bringing together the members of the audience to recognize that while each person in the school is their own individual, unique person, at the end of the day, we are all just people before everything else. Through interactive segments, I will work with the students to show them the inequalities and equalities that exist in their school, their community, their country and their world. To me, this speech is probably the most important that I offer, because of the overwhelmigly valuable message of equality that is left on the students. Whether you are in a homogenous or diverse school, EVERY student should hear this message.

Learning Objectives:
  • Students will walk away with the understanding that each classmate is diverse
  • A recognition of each individual's talent
  • Different doesn't mean better or worse, it means unique
  • Will create a more inclusive atmosphere in your school and community
